Kepner all about balancing the universe

In one fell swoop, College of Charleston head coach Jason Kepner has restored one of the most delicate balances in all of collegiate volleyball.

The newly minted big cheese recently hired fellow Penn State alum Kaleena Walters to be his assistant coach, which re-establishes order in the volleyball alumni coaches cosmos, hopelessly torn asunder by the resignation of Penn State assistant--and alum-- Mike Schall.

“This position will showcase and highlight the positive energy that she always has available," Penn State skipper Russ Rose proclaimed, "and I feel that everyone around her will benefit. She is a great person and she will become a terrific coach.”

Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's all well and good, but keeping the Nittany Alliance strong is what interests Kepner most. And Katie Schumacher feels a little less alone in the world.
