John Kessel: Volleyball's Mr. Nice Guy

According to USAVolleyball.org, John Kessel -- Bob Knight's polar opposite in the coaching world -- "was one of 19 individuals selected as a 2007 Sports Ethics Fellow as chosen by the Institute for International Sport and the Positive Coaching Alliance at Stanford University."

That's really just a fancy way of saying "Gosh you're swell!"

Among the 19 others selected for the honor is Bart Conner. So that's now two things that Kessel has in common with former Olympic gymnast Conner: this award, and an irrational fear of pommel horses.
