Of Horned Frog voices and brain surgery

Jeff Lewis, hubbie to TCU head coach Prentice Lewis, is stepping down as director of volleyball operations, a position he held while his wife recovered from brain surgery. He will, however, continue as the radio voice of the Horned Frogs.

So he's got that going for him...which is nice.

While we're talking about the Lewis clan, can we just say how much we admire Prentice for her speedy recovery from brain surgery? BRAIN SURGERY. They opened her skull and took something out of it. Makes any difficulties a TCU player or staff member might have on the court seem pretty minimal I'd imagine.

"Why didn't you make that play?"

"I'm trying, it was just really hard."

"Hard? Really. You know what else is hard? BRAIN SURGERY."
