There's a shocker

The AVP will have a tour stop in Long Beach in 2007. The last time the AVP came to Long Beach was 1985, a more innocent time in the world of beach volleyball; we were still 5 years away from being subjected to Monroe Clark in "Side Out."

I'd say it's about time the much-neglected beaches of Southern California hosted one of these things. Poor SoCal beach denizens...they have so little.
