Ginipro-motion takes nearly half a decade

Virginia assistant Matt Ginipro was promoted to associate head coach last week. The promotion comes after six years of serving at the pleasure of head coach Melissa Aldrich Shelton.

Six years? It took Ginipro six years to get the nod? That's nowhere near the current world record of "a handful of months" held by Scott Swanson.
